New York: A woman in the US made her 3-year-old son to bid farewell to his father before she shot dead the child.

Savannah Kriger, 32, from Texas filmed the child shortly before she shot him and herself, The New York Post reported.

The incident reportedly had taken place on March 19 at a park in San Antonio and Kriger and her son, Kaiden, were later discovered dead with gunshot wounds to their heads.

Before she committed the dreadful crime, Kriger vanadaliased her ex-husband's residence, shot at her wedding photos and sent him threatening FaceTime videos and texts.

It all began on the afternoon of March 18 when Kriger left work and went directly to her ex-husband’s home as he was away at work.

After causing damage to his residence, Kriger returned to her home where police later found her wedding attire and portraits on the bed.

Sheriff Javier Salazar of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office reportedly said Kriger discharged two rounds into her wedding portraits.

On a FaceTime call Kriger said "You don't have anything to go home to now. You really don't," adding "You won't have anything at all at the end of the day."

Shockingly her final text to her ex read, "Say goodbye to your son."

A video recovered from Kriger’s phone showed the mother and the son sitting in a ditch in a park where their bodies were later discovered.
