The Australian cricketer and star batter David Warner expressed his love for the Indian delicacy Rasgulla, a desert. He shared a picture of the same on Instagram and asked Indians for more similar recommendations, NDTV reported.

The picture features a bowl with Rasgullas, and Warner asks whether he should try the after-dinner sweet.

NDTV reports that Rasgulla or roshogulla is among India's favourites and is prepared in multiple versions. They are soft and spongy chhena balls soaked in sugar syrup. The different versions include those with dry fruits, kesar strands or jaggery.

Warner's photo received 3.4 lakh likes and 4k comments.

Many commented on their recommendations, too, with replies such as "Delicious", "Rasmalai and Kaju Barfi-favs", etc. One user advised him to join the India Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders so that he could have the best Rosogolla. "You can have the best Rosogolla in Kolkata... join KKR & have the best Rosogolla," the comment read.

David Warner has a huge number of Instagram followers from India, and he interacts with them regularly, sharing curious posts on the platform. Recently, he paid his greetings on Republic Day and Makar Sankranti.

He also celebrated the pan-global fever of "Pathan", the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer. Warner shared his own unique "Pathan" avatar and captioned the pics, "Wow, what a film, can you name this."

Warner will be padding up for the upcoming season of IPL and, later, the ODI World Cup.
