Indian passport, visa and consular services in the UAE will be handled by a new outsourcing provider from July 1, following an announcement by the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi.

The embassy said Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC will take over the processing of applications submitted from July 1 onwards through its service centres across the country.

Existing providers, BLS International Services and SGIVS Global, will continue to accept and process applications until June 30.

The Indian mission said further details on service centre locations, operating hours, appointment procedures, fees and contact information will be released before the transition takes effect.

Applicants have been advised to continue using current centres until the end of June and follow updates issued through official embassy and consulate channels.

From July, Al Hind will offer a range of services, including passport renewals, visas, Overseas Citizen of India cards, Police Clearance Certificates, surrender certificates, Global Entry Program verification, and document attestation.

Previous announcements by the company indicated plans to operate 16 centres across the UAE. The company has also said applicants will use a dedicated online platform for appointments and applications, while service procedures are expected to remain largely unchanged.

The transition follows the completion of a tender process conducted by Indian diplomatic missions in the UAE.

The embassy said it is working to ensure a smooth handover while maintaining accessible and efficient services for the Indian community and other applicants across the country.
