Smart Travel’s B2B portal ‘Smartzett’ earns reliability honour at Arabian Travel Awards 2025

Smart Travel’s B2B platform Smartzett was named The Most Reliable Travel Platform in the UAE at the Arabian Travel Awards 2025, an annual ceremony recognized across the region’s travel, tourism and hospitality sector.
The chief guest, Dr. Mohammed Al Ahbabi, Director of Tourism Development at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, presented the award during the event.
Smart Travel Group chairman Afi Ahmed UPC accepted the honor, along with the chief commercial officer Rajil Sudhakaran and general manager Safeer Mahmood. The team led the company through a period of expansion across the UAE, building Smartzett into one of its core products.
The announcement comes as Smart Travel completes ten years in the industry. The group said it will continue to focus on dependable service delivery and technology-driven products for clients in the UAE and India, noting that Smartzett has become a central part of its operations during its expansion in the region
