Dubai Municipality clarified this in a social media post. It wrote in a social media post: "We also affirm that all food items undergo thorough supervision across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with specific standards."

Similarly, Abu Dhabi authorities have affirmed that imported food products undergo stringent controls at various entry points. No product is permitted to enter the country unless it complies with approved specifications.

Additionally, inspection and sampling of food products are conducted at sales centres to ensure safety for consumption.

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) assured the public of the safety of all food products in circulation, highlighting their strict controls throughout the supply chain.

ADAFSA's actions are guided by technical regulations, systems, and legislation based on scientific principles and international references. These food safety regulations undergo regular review and updates to stay aligned with the latest developments.

Meanwhile, the UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment recently confirmed the safety of Perrier French water products in the country's markets.

Nestle, the parent company of Perrier, stated that it has intensified monitoring following warnings by French regulators regarding the quality of its bottled mineral water brands, including Perrier.
