‘Made in Kerala’ pavilion to debut at Come On Kerala 2026
text_fieldsA dedicated “Made in Kerala” pavilion will be introduced at the eighth edition of the Come On Kerala exhibition, providing an international platform for businesses and startups originating in the state, organisers said.
The pavilion will feature enterprises founded in Kerala that are seeking overseas markets. Organisers said the focus signals a shift from the earlier trend of individuals travelling abroad for employment to a phase where Kerala-born ventures expand beyond national borders.
Come On Kerala, one of the largest Indian trade, cultural and entertainment expos in the Middle East, is held annually in the UAE and attracts hundreds of participants from India and abroad. The previous seven editions were organised under the patronage of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
This year’s exhibition will take place from May 8 to 10 at Expo Centre Sharjah, with the support of government bodies including the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Organisers said the eighth edition has been planned with significant changes to its exhibition format and event programming.
For the first time, Kerala-based enterprises will be given a separate pavilion at the exhibition. Businesses from sectors such as artificial intelligence, information technology, finance, travel and food will take part, with opportunities to present their products and services and connect with international partners.
The exhibition will also include side events that allow interaction with GCC-based companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
