Dubai Police urged drivers to take caution as unstable weather spreads across the UAE. Police said teams are prepared to respond to emergency reports in mountainous zones, valleys and on major roads where accidents may occur during wet conditions.

Motorists were asked to follow traffic rules, lower speed when needed and leave adequate space between vehicles. Residents were also told to avoid waterways and not attempt to cross valleys during rainfall.

Authorities issued guidance to owners of boats, ships, yachts and other sea users to monitor weather updates and follow safety instructions as conditions shift.

The UAE is currently under the impact of an active low-pressure system bringing heavy rain, lower temperatures and reduced visibility. Fujairah and nearby coastal areas saw strong rainfall early Tuesday, while Dubai and parts of the East Coast reported morning showers. Masafi, Kalba and surrounding zones are expected to receive additional rain through the week.

The National Center of Meteorology said the instability may continue until Friday. The lowest temperature recorded early Tuesday was 9.9°C on Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. Higher elevations in the emirate are expected to move into colder conditions as winds strengthen.

Fresh southeasterly winds reaching 45 km/h have produced rough sea conditions, with offshore waves reaching up to seven feet in the Arabian Gulf. The NCM issued orange and yellow alerts for parts of Khor Fakkan and Fujairah and warned residents to stay cautious near the coast.

Emergency calls can be made through 999, while non-emergency assistance is available via 901.
