Saudis relentless support for Ukraine is alive, says the Kingdom

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is keeping its support to the international efforts for politically finding a solution to the conflict in Ukraine, the Kingdom’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan assured on Wednesday.

Arab News reported that the minister said Saudi’s stand during a phone call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. During the call, they discussed the latest happenings as part of the crisis in Ukraine.

According to Saudi’s foreign ministry, the two leaders had talked about bilateral relations and possible ways to develop them in various sectors.

Later, Prince Faisal had a phone call with Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. They talked about bilateral relations and “ways to enhance them to serve the aspirations” of the two nations, Arab News quoted.

The two foreign ministers further talked about regional and international matters of common interest. Also, they talked about ways to enhance joint efforts to empower international peace and security.
