Saudi backed HUMAIN reveals Horizon Pro laptop, built on agentic AI

HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund-backed company in Saudi arabia, has announced the launch of its Horizon Pro PC, a laptop it describes as a “groundbreaking” step in agentic artificial intelligence personal computing. The reveal came during the Snapdragon Summit in Maui, led by HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin.
Agentic AI, unlike traditional systems, is designed to act independently with initiative, often requiring little to no human oversight. HUMAIN says the Horizon Pro will embody this capability by combining cutting-edge hardware and a proprietary software ecosystem.
According to the company, the device is powered by the Snapdragon processor family, enabling “AI performance and a powerful CPU so that the PC can operate up to 100 times faster than human thought".
The Horizon Pro will run on HUMAIN ONE, a new operating system built to unify enterprise workflows, communications and AI-driven applications. The OS, described as adaptive and anticipatory, is designed to accelerate decision-making and streamline complex processes.
Performance features highlighted include zero-latency wake time, over 18 hours of battery life, a 40 percent reduction in power consumption compared with competing systems and advanced thermal management for sustained high performance under heavy workloads.
The system also integrates ALLaM, HUMAIN’s Arabic-first large language model. By operating locally for speed and data privacy while offering hybrid AI capabilities for cloud-based tasks, the Horizon Pro aims to balance performance with enterprise-grade control and scalability.
“The HUMAIN Horizon Pro represents a paradigm shift in agentic AI personal computing,” Amin said.
“Especially for enterprise environments where AI actively collaborates with users, both locally and in the cloud, to boost productivity".
As part of the launch initiative, HUMAIN will distribute 500 Horizon Pro PCs to students. The company says the program is intended to “help unlock new potential for learning, creativity and future leadership in AI-driven fields".
