The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its support for vulnerable communities through new projects in several countries, including Pakistan, Syria, Sudan and Afghanistan.

In Pakistan, KSrelief launched the Economic Empowerment Project in Peshawar, distributing 2,000 goats, 25,000 poultry and 500 cattle. The initiative, which also includes tools and vocational training, aims to benefit about 2,500 low-income families.

In Syria, the agency distributed 420 food baskets to displaced families from As-Suwayda to Daraa and provided 970 shelter kits in Aleppo. In Sudan, it delivered 1,050 food baskets to displaced and needy families in Halfa and Abri in the Northern State.

In Afghanistan, KSrelief provided food aid to 350 families returning from Iran at the Baba Jan Brigade camp in Kabul Province.

Since its establishment in 2015, KSrelief has implemented 3,814 projects across 109 countries, with total spending exceeding $8.2 billion. The agency’s work covers sectors including food security, health, education, water and sanitation, shelter and early recovery.

KSrelief collaborates with UN agencies and international partners to enhance resilience and promote sustainable development among affected populations.
