Jeddah: The "Cirque du Soleil" shows, run as part of Jeddah Season 2022, have been witnessing heavy turnout. The event, hosted by King Abdullah Sports City, is experiencing a crowd as it fell along with Eid Al-Fitr, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Cirque du Soleil exhibits various items by 39 performers, who are assisted by 25 technicians. In a first, they are conducting an exclusive show for Jeddah Season, titled "Fuzion". The show, spanning four hours, will be held four days a week till June 28.

It performed a fireworks show and acrobatics on the first day, which was well received by the audience with awe.

Reservation points for the shows are made available at Virgin showrooms in Roshana Mall, Red Sea Mall, Mall of Arabia and Al-Nakheel Mall in Jeddah. Further, it is also available in Panorama Mall, Hayat Mall and Riyadh Park in Riyadh and Dhahran Mall in Dhahran.

So far, Cirque du Soleil has held six shows in the Kingdom, the first one in 2018. The last one was titled "Messi 10", a tribute to the Argentine football legend, held in last November's Riyadh Season.

The Second Jeddah Season, which is going on under the slogan "Our Lovely Days", was born out of the success of the Riyadh Season. Riyadh Season had hosted 15 million visited over five months.
