The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has announced a job opening for the position of Chauffeur, inviting applications from Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications by Tuesday, July 15. The vacancy was officially shared through the embassy’s X account, providing details about the role, salary, eligibility criteria and the application process.

The Chauffeur position offers a starting salary of SAR 3,200, with incremental increases over time, ultimately reaching SAR 7,840.

The salary structure is outlined as follows: 3200-96-4640-139-6030-181-7840.

To be eligible, applicants must be Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia with a valid Iqama or National ID.

The age limit is set to 40 years as of July 15, 2025.

A minimum of 10th standard education is required and all academic qualifications must be attested by the appropriate authorities, including the State Government, Ministry of Education, New Delhi, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi and the Saudi Embassy in New Delhi.

Proficiency in both English and Arabic is a must and candidates must possess a valid Saudi driving license with at least five years of experience, accompanied by a certificate of experience.

Physical and mental fitness, certified by a medical professional, is also a necessary condition for applying.

The selection process for the role will consist of several stages. Applications will first be shortlisted, followed by document verification. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a driving test and those who pass the test will be invited for an interview.

The final selection will be based on the candidate’s overall personality, communication skills and professional experience, all of which will be evaluated by a Selection Committee during the interview.

Candidates wishing to apply are required to submit their applications online, along with scanned copies of their academic qualifications, experience letters and other relevant certifications. Specific dates for the driving test and interviews will be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course.
