Amid rising fears of an all-out war between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah, several nations, including the US, Britain, and France, have advised their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately.

The Indian government has urged its nationals to avoid non-essential travel to Lebanon. The Indian embassy in Beirut has advised residents to exercise caution, limit their movements, and stay in touch with the embassy.

British Foreign Minister David Lammy has issued a clear warning to British nationals in Lebanon, urging them to leave the country immediately due to the high tensions and rapidly deteriorating situation. The UK is working to enhance its consular presence in Lebanon to assist its citizens, reported AFP.

France has asked its citizens visiting Iran to depart immediately, citing an increased risk of military escalation in the region. The French foreign ministry has strongly advised those still in Iran to leave as soon as possible.

The US embassy in Lebanon has recommended its citizens leave the country on any available flights. Despite some flight cancellations, commercial transport options remain open, and the embassy encourages immediate departure, even if alternative routes must be taken.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel is ready for any aggression following threats of retaliation from Hezbollah and Hamas for the killings of their top figures.
