Kuwait and Morocco plans Covid vaccination campaign

According to the Kuwait Times, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health approved extending the period between the two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine from 4 weeks to 12 weeks. This move comes as the ministerial committees confirmed the studies of vaccine effectiveness of the extended time course.
People who received the first dose of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines can reschedule accordingly.
Kuwait health authorities have taken new steps to extend the campaign against Covid19.
Meanwhile, Morocco's Kingdom received the second batch of 4 million doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine on Thursday.
In Morocco, the second batch of AstraZeneca vaccine from India arrived on a Royal Air Maroc flight in Casablanca on Thursday afternoon.
"This new batch would enable a steady continuation of Morocco's national vaccination campaign," said Said Afif, a member of the health ministry's scientific committee, to Reuters.
Kuwait and Morocco had authorized the emergency use of Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine for use within their countries in January.
