The Israeli military announced on Wednesday that it had initiated a "limited ground operation" in Gaza, marking an escalation in hostilities following recent missile strikes.

This latest move appears to intensify Israel’s renewed military offensive, which broke a ceasefire agreement with Hamas that had been in place since January.

As part of the ceasefire deal, Israel had previously withdrawn from the Netzarim corridor, a strategic area it had used as a military zone to divide northern and southern Gaza. However, the latest operation suggests Israel is seeking to reestablish control over parts of this key corridor.

Tensions in Gaza continue to escalate as military actions resume, raising concerns over further violence and instability in the region.
