Thiruvananthapuram: Early results from counting centres across Kerala show both LDF and UDF appears to be in fierce fight with UDF leading in 13 seats and LDF in 7 places while the BJP’s NDA is nowhere around as of writing this.

Thiruvananthapuram, one of the major constituencies to attract wide attention, Congress candidate Shashi Tharoor is leading by 908 votes which previously fluctuated to the upwards of thousands.

His rival candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar is in second position occasionally racing past Tharoor.

Another notable seat Thrissur LDF candidate Sunil Kumar is leading leaving behind rivals including actor Suresh Gopi and Congress candidate K Muralidharan.

Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad is leading by 2345 with LDF candidate Anie Raja and NDA’s K Suredran reeling behind the Congress leader.

The first reports from Vadakara says UDF candidate leads by a flimsy 38 votes and his arch rival KK Shailaja appears to be close behind.
