P V Anvar, an MLA from the ruling LDF government, has accused Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's close confidants, including political secretary P Sasi and Law and Order ADGP M R Ajith Kumar, of betrayal by withholding crucial intelligence reports from the Chief Minister.

The crucial intelligence reports included details of the meeting between ADGP M R Ajith Kumar and the RSS leaders. Anvar, in an attempt to shield the CM from allegations that the DGP meeting had occurred at the direction of the CM, said that withholding the intelligence had left Pinarayi Vijayan unaware of these developments.

Anvar further alleged that the influence of the RSS within the state police was creating a challenging situation for law enforcement. He also accused Sasi and Ajith Kumar of deliberately disrupting the investigation into the attack on Swami Sandeepananda Giri Ashram by refusing to analyse key call records of RSS leaders linked to various cases.

The MLA also pointed to Ajith Kumar’s involvement in sabotaging the recent Thrissur Pooram festival, suggesting that it was part of a broader plan to benefit the BJP candidate in the Thrissur constituency during the Lok Sabha elections.

Anvar highlighted that Ajith Kumar had held meetings with several top RSS figures, including party general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale and spokesperson Ram Madhav, raising concerns about political interference in Kerala’s law enforcement and festival events.

Anvar's allegations have sparked political tensions, as he continues to press for accountability regarding these claims.
