Kollam: Ending hours of anxiety, police said the six-year-old girl kidnapped from Oyoor in Kollam has been found.

Abigail Sara Reji was found abandoned at Asramam Maidan where driving schools usually train their students.

The child is reported to be healthy but tired and was taken to Kollam Commissioner Office.

She will be shifted to the hospital for medical check-up.

Abigail was kidnapped by a group on Monday evening near her home in Oyoor in Kollam.

She was heading home after tuition class with her eight-year-old brother Jonathan when a group dragged her inside a car but her brother managed to escape.

Immediately after kidnapping, Abigail Sara’s mother received a call, believed to be from the kidnappers, demanding a ransom of Rs 5 lakhs for releasing the child.

Police had been searching over the night for the white Maruti Swift car that the abductors reportedly used.

Alongside, police have released the sketch of a suspect belonging to the group.
