Four fishermen feared missing as boat capsizes off Alappuzha coast

Alappuzha: Four fishermen are feared missing after a boat capsized off the Alappuzha coast on Friday.

The search is on for the missing fishermen. The Navy has deployed a helicopter for search operations. The Coast Guard is also involved in search operations.

Sources say the rough sea and strong winds are hindering the rescue efforts.

According to reports, the engine of the boat stopped functioning and overturned after it was caught in the rough waves. The four are reportedly clinging to the pieces of wreck.
