Bengaluru: India's Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, is known for traffic congestion. The big city is full of traffic bottlenecks and causes frustration among residents and professionals every single day.

Dr. Nikhil Sikri, co-founder and CEO of Zolo, recently took to LinkedIn to address the city's traffic issues and called it "being frozen in time". His post centered around the repetitive nature of Google Maps' estimated arrival time (ETA), which remained unchanged every five minutes, ultimately prolonging the total journey time. He wrote, "To experience a sense of being frozen in time, one need only attempt to drive through Bengaluru with Google Maps."

The post resonated with city dwellers who empathised with the frustration caused by the traffic congestion in Bengaluru. Users flooded the comments section, expressing their own perspectives on the matter.

"It's getting worse on a daily basis, and the localities here blame the North and West Indians for creating such packed scenarios," commented one user.

"Haha, I feel your pain! Bangalore traffic and Google Maps have a unique relationship. It's like a never-ending loop of ETA updates that never seem to change. You start with high hopes of reaching your destination in a reasonable time, only to see the same ETA taunt you repeatedly. It's almost as if time stands still while navigating those chaotic roads. But hey, at least we can find humor in the situation, right? Keep that smile on your face, and hopefully, you'll get there eventually, even if it takes an eternity according to Google Maps. Safe travels!" wrote another user.

Being the hub of tech professionals and startups, traffic jams are a pain point because it brings in an unreasonable amount of uncertainty around plans and routine.
