Rahul Gandhi in the BJP's line of fire as nightclub clip emerges
text_fieldsPatna: Hours after Congress took a dig at PM Modi for his visit to Europe, a video clip of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi at a foreign night club emerged on Tuesday.
The Wayanad MP is believed to be inside what seems like a nightclub in Nepal.
He was reportedly in Nepal to attend the wedding of his journalist friend Sumnima Udas at the Marriot Hotel on Monday.
Video clip that went viral shows Rahul Gandhi along with a friend at a dimly lit nightclub as people dancing to loud music around them.
Those shared the video include BJP IT cell in-charge Amit Malviya who said Rahul Gandhi was at a nightclub when his party was exploding.
India Today learnedly reported that the video was shot at a popular nightclub in Kathmandu.
Only a few hours before, the Congress criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Europe saying during crisis in the country " Saheb" likes being abroad.
BJP leader Tajinder Pal Bagga also shared a video of Wayanad MP's time in a nightclub.
Gandhi was seen in the nightclub just as Congress was brainstorming over induction of poll strategist Prashant Kishor to the grand old party.
Rahul's absence is all the more felt as tensions are simmering within the Rajasthan unit of the Congress party.
