Bhopal: After the price for premium petrol crossed hundred in Bhopal on Saturday, several old pumps were forced to replace their machines as they were unable to display the three-digit price per litre value. Youth Congress protested the price hike marched to petrol pumps sporting bats and helmets to 'celebrate' the 'century'.

In several parts of the country, premium petrol price has risen over a hundred. The cost of regular petrol is also expected to cross 100 in the upcoming few days.

In Rajasthan, premium petrol is priced at 102.7 and premium diesel at 99.29. In Maharashtra, premium petrol is priced at 100.16.

The petrol price has been raised for six consecutive days now. In Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district, today's price per litre is 99.29 for petrol and 91.17 for diesel. Rajasthan has the highest fuel prices in the country.

In Maharashtra's Parbhani, petrol is priced at 97.38 per litre. Meanwhile, in Delhi, petrol is priced at 88.73 and diesel at 79.06.
