India records more than 300 fresh covid-19 cases

New Delhi: India logged 324 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases increased to 2,791, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Sunday.
The death toll stands at 5,30,775, the latest data updated. The latest fatalities include two cases reported by Maharashtra in the last 24 hours and one reconciled by Kerala, reports ET.
The Covid case tally was recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,87, 820).
According to the health ministry, the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.80 percent.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 4,41,54,254, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 percent.
According to the ministry, 220.64 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
