India heading towards 'Civil War": Lalu Yadav
text_fieldsPatna (Bihar): Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav on Sunday emerged from political wilderness calling up on people to unite and fight against BJP government in the Centre.
The former Bihar Chief Minister who is now fighting corruption cases in courts said the country is heading towards civil war.
He asked people to unite against inflation, unemployment and corruption in the country as BJP is leading country towards civil war.
Addressing the Sampoorna Kranti Diwas virtually, he appealed to the secular forces to unit and fight together.
The Indian Express reported him calling for people to fight united, assuring success.
The Jharkhand High Court earlier granted bail to him in the ₹ 139.35-crore illegal withdrawal from Doranda Treasury, according to the report.
In February, a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Ranchi found him guilty of fraudulent withdrawals from Doranda Treasury in connection with the fifth fodder scam.
