BRS MLC Kavitha, Telangana minister KTR and Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Hyderabad: Further fuelling the allegations that the notorious conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar is being used as a pawn for political gains once again comes to the fore with his letter to Home Minister Amit Shah, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, and the director of the CBI implicating Telangana IT Minister KTR and BRS MLC Kavitha Kalvakuntla in bribe case.

The allegations of bribes against prominent political figures in Telangana when the state is to embrace assembly elections in the coming months that too from a jailed conman have been called out by critics.

In his letter dated July 12, Sukesh accused close associates of BRS MLC Kavitha Kalvakuntla and Telangana IT Minister KTR of offering him a bribe of Rs 100 crore, land at Shamshabad, and a ticket in the upcoming Assembly elections.

In response to these allegations, KTR vehemently denied any knowledge of Sukesh and labelled him a "delusional fraudster." KTR expressed his intent to take strong legal action against Sukesh for his baseless claims.

According to Sukesh, this offer was made in an attempt to silence him and force him to retract his statements and evidence related to the Delhi Excise policy row, which he had previously provided to the Enforcement Directorate.

Furthermore, Sukesh claimed to possess substantial evidence, including WhatsApp chat copies, recordings, and transactions worth Rs 2000 crore, allegedly involving KTR, Kavitha, and himself. He also alleged that his family was threatened with dire consequences if he refused to comply with their demands.

Sukesh appealed to the Union Home Minister for an urgent investigation by the CBI into the matter, highlighting the need to address these allegations before the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana.
