Bihar: Mahagathbandhan releases Election Manifesto,Vows to scrap Anti-Farm Laws

Patna: The RJD-Congress Left Front Grand Alliance, which is widely known as Mahagathbandhan in Bihar has released its manifesto focusing on recently passed Farm laws and employment opportunities.

Releasing the manifesto, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said the bill to abolish all the three anti-farm laws enacted by the Central government last month would be passed at the first Vidhan Sabha session if the Grand Alliance led by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav came to power.

Ten lakh youth will be employed in the first assembly session itself, in case the alliance wins. All applications for government jobs will be distributed free of cost. The travel expenses for the examination centre will be paid to the candidates, said the Chief Minister candidate Tejaswi Yadav.

"The central team has not yet visited the flood affected areas of Bihar despite Nitish Kumar's rule for 15 years. Even though people claim job as service everyone is running for position," Yadav said

In 2015, Modi said he would drink tea with sugar produced from the sugar factory in Motihari. Ironically the mills producing sugar, jute, chilly and rice still remain closed,Yadav criticised.

Randeep Surjewala,General Secretary of AICC mocked that BJP in Bihar for faces elections in three alliances. The alliance with the JD(U) is obvious to the people. The other alliance is with the LJP and the third is with Owaisi Sahib, said Surjewala.

Surjewala also countered BJP leader Giriraj Singh's allegations against Congress candidate Mashkur Usmani.

"The BJP is creating controversy at its hate factory in order to distract people from theiranti- peopleacts. Our Jale candidate is never at par with Jinnah's ideology. When he was a student at AligarhMuslim university, he wrote to the Prime Minister demanding removal of Jinnah's picture from the AMU campus, the Parliament and Bombay High Court, but PM Modi did not respond to it", said Surjewala.

Earlier this week, the allies had released a list of candidates contesting in 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly. The election will be held in three phases from October 28 and the results will be declared on November 10.
