Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat once again was heard making remarks about the ideological existence of a ‘Hindu Rashtra’, calling India a Hindu Rashtra and all Indians being Hindus.

He made this remark during the inauguration of 'Madhukar Bhavan,' the new building of Shri Narkesari Prakashan Ltd on Friday.

Addressing the gathering at the event, Bhagwat stated, "Hindustan (India) is a 'Hindu Rashtra,' and this is a fact. Ideologically, all Bharatiyas (Indians) are Hindus, and Hindus mean all Bharatiyas. All those who are in Bharat (India) today are related to Hindu culture, Hindu ancestors, and Hindu land, nothing other than these."

He noted that while some have understood and acknowledged this perspective, others have either not comprehended it yet or have chosen to forget it.

Bhagwat also stressed the role of the media in maintaining fairness and factual reporting while preserving their own ideologies. He stated, "Reporting should cover everyone and be done fairly and based on facts while keeping our own ideology intact."

Highlighting the global significance of the RSS ideology, Bhagwat asserted, "Our ideology is much sought-after the world over. In fact, there is no alternative to this ideology. Everybody has understood this. Some acknowledge it, some do not." He suggested that the responsibility for disseminating this ideology naturally falls on the country and society, as well as the media.

In addition to discussing national identity, Bhagwat also emphasized the need for environmental conservation, focusing on "Swadeshi" (self-reliance), nurturing family values, and instilling discipline in society.
