Amazon in trouble for selling "obscene Raha-Krishna pics

Bengaluru: An outfit called 'the Hindu Janajagruthi Samithi' has launched a complaint against e-commerce giant Amazon for selling obscene pictures of Lord Krishna and Radha.
The outfit alleged that the pictures being sold on Amazon under the title 'INKOLOGIE Hindu Gods Fine Arts painting' were hurting the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus. The complaint said that selling such pictures on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami could have ulterior motives.
The complaint is filed under IPC sections 295, 295 A, and 298. "Legal action must be initiated against the company for hurting the feelings of Hindus," said the Hindu outfit.
Police at Subramanyanagar police station in Bengaluru said the pictures were taken down after the complaint was filed.
