London: Ahead of the launch of his memoir, Prince Harry said he sees "no willingness to reconcile" in the rift between him and his family. He, however, expressed a desire to get his father and brother back.

The 38-year-old and his wife Meghan Markle recently spoke of their experience following the wedding in a Netflix docuseries. They revealed the reasons behind their decision to leave the royal family. Harry for the first time spoke in detail about the current state of his relationship with his brother Prince William.

"It never needed to be this way, the leaking, and the planting. I want a family, not an institution. If they feel as though it's better to keep us somehow as the villains they've shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile. I would like to get my father back. I would like to get my brother back," reported AFP.

Prince Harry's memoir 'Spare' is set to be released on January 10.

According to Sunday Times, Harry's book is more about his brother than King Charles. "Everything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than I had expected, but it's tough on William, in particular, and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside. There are these minute details and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can't see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this," revealed a source.
