Triptii Dimri joins Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’

After her breakout role in Animal, Triptii Dimri is all set to collaborate once again with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this time as the female lead in the highly anticipated film Spirit, starring Prabhas.
Dimri’s announcement comes amid much speculation about the film’s casting.
Earlier, reports had claimed that Deepika Padukone exited the project following disagreements over conditions such as fixed working hours and a share in the profits. These rumours have now been silenced as Triptii Dimri confirmed her role via a heartfelt social media post.

Spirit will mark Dimri’s first on-screen pairing with pan-Indian star Prabhas, adding another major milestone to her growing filmography. She previously starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, which also featured Rashmika Mandanna.
Triptii’s latest release was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024), where she shared screen space with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.
She is currently working with some of India’s most renowned directors, including Imtiaz Ali and Vishal Bhardwaj, and will soon be seen in projects featuring Shahid Kapoor, Fahadh Faasil, and now, Prabhas.
