Shah Rukh Khan landed at New York Airport on Sunday, a day before his much-anticipated debut at the Met Gala 2025, where he is set to become the first Indian male actor to attend the prestigious fashion event.
Clips showing Khan's arrival alongside his manager, Pooja Dadlani, have been circulating across various social media platforms.
This year’s Met Gala, scheduled for May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, will follow the theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."
Indian celebrities Kiara Advani, Priyanka Chopra, and Diljit Dosanjh are also expected to grace the red carpet, TNIE reported.
The 2025 Met Gala theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
The accompanying exhibition will showcase a diverse collection including garments, paintings, photographs, and more highlighting Black fashion with a particular emphasis on menswear and the concept of dandyism.
