Five charged in connection with Liam Payne's death in Buenos Aires

Argentine authorities have formally charged five individuals in relation to the death of globally acclaimed singer Liam Payne, who passed away earlier this month in Buenos Aires.
The charges, which include negligent homicide, manslaughter, and drug-related offences, were detailed by local media reports, according to TMZ.
Among those charged is Roger Nores, a close associate of Payne, who reportedly left the singer at the CasaSur Palermo hotel roughly an hour before his fatal fall. Nores has been charged with negligent homicide and is currently restricted from leaving Argentina. However, it remains unclear if he has been taken into custody.
Two other individuals, Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra, employees at the CasaSur Palermo hotel, face allegations of supplying narcotics. Authorities allege that both provided cocaine to Payne, which he consumed in the hours leading up to his death.
The hotel’s managers, Gilda Martin and Esteban Grassi, have been charged with manslaughter. Prosecutors argue that their failure to maintain safe conditions at the property contributed to the fatal incident.
Payne, 30, fell from a balcony at the CasaSur Palermo after a day reportedly involving the consumption of whiskey and cocaine. The sudden loss of the singer has sent shockwaves through the music industry and devastated his global fanbase.
As the investigation continues, a judge has previously approved prosecutors’ request to charge Nores with abandonment, suggesting that additional legal actions may follow. All five accused individuals have been summoned to court as authorities look deeper into the circumstances surrounding Payne’s untimely death.
