Dulquer's 'Lucky Bhaskar' inspires 4 Andhra boys to flee hostel
text_fieldsMumbai: Four schoolboys from Andhra Pradesh went missing after watching the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Lucky Bhaskar, motivated by its storyline to chase wealth and success.
The boys, identified as Charan Teja, Raghu, Karthik, and Kiran Kumar, who are all in 9th grade, had been residing at a hostel in Maharanipet, Vizag. According to sources, the boys reportedly told their friends that they would return only after earning money and cars like the character of Bhaskar does in the film. They were so inspired by the film’s protagonist, who climbs from financial hardship to riches, that they decided to leave home in pursuit of their fortune.
CCTV footage from the hostel captured the boys as they climbed over the gate and left. Their parents, distressed and worried for their safety, promptly contacted local authorities, leading to the filing of a missing persons report. Police are now actively searching for the boys in bus terminals, railway stations, and other public areas.
Lucky Bhaskar follows the story of a banker burdened by family obligations and financial struggles. He seizes an opportunity to exploit loopholes in the banking system, transforming a desperate bid for quick money into a calculated involvement in a larger stock market manipulation and money laundering scheme.
As the titular character rises from rags to riches, his character transforms, exposing arrogance and ambition. However, his wife, Sumathi, serving as his moral compass, questions his choices and forces him to confront the consequences of his actions.
