Dulquer Salmaan to do Telugu film with Venki Atluri

Hyderabad: Dulquer Salman has announced his next Telugu film with director Venky Atluri. The yet-to-be-titled film is promised to be a content-oriented entertainer.
Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas are producing the film. Sithara Entertainment took to Twitter to announce the film. "The uber cool #DQ is BACK! Sithara Entertainments' in Association with @fortune4cinemas #Production24 will be directed by the our dearest #VenkyAtluri ft. @dulQuer. Shoot begins this October! Summer 2024 release."
The film will go on floors in October 2023 and hit theatres worldwide in the Summer of 2024.
Dulquer Salman has previously worked in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu films. His Tollywood debut was with Mani Ratnam's O Kaadhal Kanmani, released in Telugu as 'O Bangaram'. Mahanati and Sita Raman were also hits among Telugu audiences.
He has just wrapped up the shoot for his biggest Malayalam film to date 'King of Kotha'. Directed by newcomer Abhilash Joshy, it is described as a big-canvas gangster film. He will also be seen in the Netflix show 'Guns and Gulaabs'.
Director Venky Atluri is also known for the hit bilingual film SIR starring Dhanush.
