The film "Crew," featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, has demonstrated resilience at the box office, passing the Monday test with early trends suggesting a fourth-day business between Rs 4.00 to 4.50 crore.

"It’s a 50% drop from Friday, but that was a holiday, and in real terms, the dip is around 35%, which is good for the feature film," industry analysts noted.

The four-day total of Crew stands at approximately Rs 34.50 crore, with expectations for first-week business around Rs 45 crore.

"Crew is continuing to perform strongly in metropolitan areas such as Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore, indicating potential for long-term success," industry insiders revealed. "The film is expected to target anywhere in the range of Rs 13 to 16 crore in its second weekend, benefiting from a clear run at the box office," they added.

While domestic business is promising, Crew has also garnered significant attention in international markets, accumulating USD 2.8 Million (Rs 23 crore) in its opening weekend.

"Made on a budget of Rs 75 crore, with an additional Rs 15 crore spent on PnA, the film has already recovered Rs 55 crore from non-theatrical sources," financial analysts stated.

The Monday hold suggests that Crew is poised for success, with the second Friday anticipated to solidify its position as a clean hit.

Throughout its opening weekend, "Crew" has displayed commendable performance at the box office. The film garnered Rs 9.50 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 10.00 crore on Saturday, and Rs 10.50 crore on Sunday, indicating a consistent upward trend in earnings. As the week commenced, Monday's expected earnings stand at Rs 4.25 crore, contributing to a cumulative total of Rs 34.25 crore.

By the end of its theatrical run, Crew is projected to yield a profit of Rs 20 crore, marking a successful venture for its producers.

"The film's success breaks the narrative of only action films with male stars dominating the box office, potentially paving the way for more well-packaged rom-coms and comedies," industry experts commented.

"Crew's honest content and effective pre-release marketing strategies, which emphasized the importance of authentic genre representation, have resonated with audiences, demonstrating the significance of a strong trailer and music in driving box office performance," they added.
