As Chiranjeevi turns 66, Mahesh babu unveils mega star's next film 'Bhola Shankar'
text_fieldsHyderabad: As Telugu film icon Chiranjeevi turns 66 on Sunday, birthday wishes continue to pour in from all corners from millions of his fans across industries.
Son and film star-maker Ram Charan Tej, affectionately called Cherry, took to Twitter with a special video to wish his dad on Sunday. "Unforgettable Moments in life with whom I call Appa!" Ram Charan tweeted on Sunday. The video contains vignettes from his prized moments with the megastar while shooting for the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan-starrer 'Acharya'.
Chiranjeevi's younger brother Naga Babu also released a video on Twitter to wish the megastar. The actor, who has made his screen presence felt with supporting roles, tweeted a simple 'Happy Birthday Annayya' ('Annaya' means 'elder brother' in Telugu). But it was his video, simulating a museum with images of the megastar adorning the walls, that caught the fancy of fans.
The megastar's nephew Allu Arjun posted a throwback picture with the birthday boy. "Many many happy returns of the day to my and our one and only MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI garu," he tweeted.
On this special occasion, his younger Tollywood compatriot Mahesh Babu has unveiled the title of Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film,'Bhola Shankar' which will be helmed by Meher Ramesh. Bhola Shankar is the Telugu remake of Vedhalam. It will be the first collaboration between Chiranjeevi and director-screenwriter Meher Ramesh, who has previously worked with Prabhas, Jr NTR and Venkatesh.
Mahesh Babu took it to Twitter to unveil the title of the film. "Happy birthday @KChiruTweets garu. Honoured to be unveiling the title of your film #BholaaShankar under the directorial skills of my good friend @MeherRamesh and my favourite producer @AnilSunkara1 garu. May the year ahead bring you great health and success. All the best sir!" he tweeted.
The announcement came a day the makers of the film tentatively titled " Chiru153" revealed its official title by releasing the motion poster. The film, the megastar's 153rd, is being directed by Mohan Raja is now officially titled 'God Father'.It is the Telugu remake of 'Lucifer', the 2019 Malayalam film starring Mohanlal in the lead.
