Kochi: The producer and director of the Malayalam film S Durga have moved Kerala High Court challenging the censor board's suspension of certification.

Producer Shaji Mathew and director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan said they were "deeply aggrieved".

The petitioners alleged the order was passed solely with the malicious intention of thwarting the exhibition of the film at the international film festival in Goa last week.

The Kerala government said on Wednesday that S Durga would be screened at the International Film Festival of Kerala, beginning on December 8, only if it gets court clearance.
