Kia India has announced its sales figures for 2024, reporting a milestone year with 255,038 units delivered, marking a 6% year-on-year growth from 240,919 units sold in 2023.

This achievement represents the highest annual sales recorded by the brand in India, underscoring its steady expansion.

The growth can be attributed to Kia’s robust model lineup and expanded presence in Tier-I and Tier-II cities. In 2024, the brand established 126 new dealerships and 36 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) outlets, bringing its network to 700 touchpoints across 301 cities nationwide.

Among Kia’s offerings, the Sonet led the charge with sales of 102,337 units, competing strongly in the sub-compact SUV segment against rivals like Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Hyundai Venue. The Seltos and Carens followed closely in driving the brand’s sales momentum.

In the luxury segment, the recently launched Carnival Limousine made its mark with 563 units sold in just two months. Additionally, Kia bolstered its global footprint by exporting 25,404 units during the year.

Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, described 2024 as a pivotal year for the company. “Our focus on timely vehicle delivery has enhanced customer satisfaction and laid a solid foundation for future growth,” he stated.

Brar also highlighted Kia’s strategic expansion of touchpoints as a long-term investment in customer trust and market reach. Looking ahead to 2025, he expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming launch of the Syros, a model poised to set new industry benchmarks and redefine the Indian automotive landscape.
