Kochi: Actor Kalabhavan Mani was debarred by the Kerala Film Producers' Association on Saturday for allegedly withdrewing from acting in a movie 'Daivam Sakshi' after accepting the advance from the producer and giving his dates.
The action was taken on a complaint filed by Snehajith, the producer of the movie.
At a meeting held today, the producers decided to allow Mani to act in movies if only he pays compensation to the producer.
