UAE Ministers to Visit Israel on Tuesday
text_fieldsAfter signing off historic Abraham accord, Finance and economic ministers of United Arab Emirates (UAE) are preparing for a visit to Israel on Tuesday. Economic minister, Abdulla bin Touq Al- Marri, is expected to sign a cooperation pact to establish the framework for trade, while finance minister, Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, will indulge in securing another deal–Bloomberg reported.
We discussed strengthening bilateral ties and examined prospects for peace and the need for stability, cooperation and the development of the region–Shaikh Muhammed bin Zayid Al- Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dabhi, had tweeted earlier on 12th October.
Along with that, as part of boosting relation, Israel and United Arab Emirates had agreed on a deal to start 28 direct passenger flights per week.
The normalisation of relations between Arab countries, the UAE and Bahrain, was elicited with mixed responses. American president Donald Trump hailed it as historic, while Turkey and Iran emphasized it as stab on the back and the betrayal of Palestinian people
