Trump criticizes Kamala Harris at Detroit rally, promises 'economic revival'
text_fieldsAt a campaign rally in Detroit, Michigan, former President Donald Trump launched a strong attack on Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her a “low-IQ person” with “disastrous” economic policies that he warned could lead to a “1929-style depression.” Trump emphasized his commitment to saving the economy and outlined his plan to “build American, buy American, and hire American.”
He claimed that Harris’s economic agenda has resulted in the loss of nearly 30,000 private sector jobs and over 50,000 manufacturing jobs.
“We will end Kamala’s economic disaster and launch a brand-new Trump economic miracle,” he declared. He criticized her policies, saying they have harmed American workers.
Trump vowed to “stop the criminal invasion of the country” and lead the nation into a “new golden age.” He described Harris as a “radical left Marxist” and accused her of supporting the “Defund the Police” movement, which he deemed unacceptable for any presidential candidate. He made several claims about her, including that she had never worked at McDonald’s and criticized her for advocating various controversial policies.
He promised that, with voter support in November, they would “fire Kamala” and work to improve the economy by cutting taxes, lowering prices, raising wages, and bringing back factories to America.
Trump also stated he would end the war in Ukraine, asserting, “It would never have started if I were president.” He pledged to restore stability in the Middle East, strengthen the military, and improve conditions in cities like Washington D.C.
He emphasized the importance of teaching children to love their country and proposed making flag-burning punishable by a year in jail. Trump also vowed to eliminate critical race theory and gender ideology from schools and to defend religious freedom and free speech.
Highlighting his commitment to the Second Amendment, he promised to protect Americans' right to bear arms. “We will stop illegal immigration once and for all,” he declared, ending with a vision of a prosperous and hopeful America for all families, rooted in the American Dream.
