A Russian tank was seen being hit by a Ukrainian missile in the Eastern Ukrainian region of the Donetsk region. The military vehicle ran over two landmines right before getting hit. A video of the incident has gone viral.

However, two crew members are seen emerging unharmed from the tank.

The tank was reportedly seen firing at Ukrainian forces when it ran over the landmine. The second landmine sent tremors through the tank. The Donetsk area is under constant attack from the Russian military, reported The Telegraph.

The Governor of the eastern Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk on Tuesday said a Russian air attack damaged a tank storing nitric acid at a chemical factory. He added that the acid is harmful if inhaled, consumed, or comes in contact with the skin. The official sent a warning message on Telegram asking people not to come out of shelters.

Moscow's assault on Ukraine in an attempt to invade the neighobouring nation has been going on for over three months.

A message from separatists on Wednesday said they are close to circling the eastern town of Avdiivka. One of the two main roads to the industrial town is blocked by the pro-Moscow separatist group. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian-occupied Ukrainian regions of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donbas must decide their own futures.

Zelenski recently said Russia is counting on a famine crisis in Europe. Russia has blocked Ukrainian ports to stop other nations from sending help in the form of food and weapons. This has prevented grain exports which led to a price hike in Europe.

Peskov added a peace document was in the works but it was stopped a long time ago. Moscow did not rule out a negotiation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. But the meeting was stalled.
