Islamabad: India’s moon landing has sparked interest in Pakistan as well.

Hours before landing, former Pakistan minister Fawad Chaudhry urged Pakistan media to live broadcast the celestial event.

Chaudhry’s appeal sparked a debate in the country with many taking to social media supplying their opinions.

A YouTuber went out to sound out public opinion on whether moon landing had to be televised in the nation.

Pakistani citizens did not hold back their emotions when they responded to the question.

At times their replies were so amusing that the video went viral on social media platforms.

The video posted by Pakistani YouTuber Sohaib Chaudhry shows a Pakistani citizen humorously saying that Pakistanis are already living on the moon.

His reason was Pakistan like the moon has no essentials including water, gas and electricity, according to NDTV.

Comparing the conditions of his nation to the moon, the man said Pakistanis would not have to venture to the moon.

The man’s comment quickly gained attention in Pakistan with many reacting to it, some even praising his sense of humour.

‘You have to concede it to them. Pakistanis have the best sense of humour, even in the most difficult of times. No wonder they produced the best stand-up performers,’ one user commented.

Another user thought the man could try standup comedy. ‘Positivity and humour top marks to this bro across the border,’ said a third user.
