Number of arrested Palestinians since October 7 reach 3,000
text_fieldsPalestinian sources have revealed that the number of Palestinians arrested by Israel since October 7, has crossed 3,000.
In the latest wave of overnight and early morning raids across the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces arrested at least 40 Palestinians, including former prisoners, reported Al-Jazeera.
According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society, Jenin, Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah, Jerusalem and Jericho recorded most of the arrests.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Barqa in Ramallah, raiding homes and carrying out arrests, as well as Qabatiya in northern West Bank, said Al-Jazeera
Meanwhile, at least one person was wounded during a raid in the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin.
In Qiffin, soldiers confiscated surveillance cameras in search of Palestinians allegedly involved in a shooting attack against settlers.
