Musk in spotlight over reported affair with Google co-founder's wife
text_fieldsMultibillionaire Tesla CEO has grabbed headlines after a reported affair of him with the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin cropped up in the public sphere. His alleged use of ketamine is also now in the spotlight, NDTV reported.
The New York Times reported that Musk and Sergey Brin's wife, Nicole Shanahan, met at a party in 2021, and both consumed ketamine together. The NYT claimed that it received information from eight different sources and documents.
The NYT report states that Shanahan hosted a birthday party in New York in 2021, and it was attended by Musk, who is a long-time friend of her ex-husband Brin.
Musk and Shanahan met at another party, a private one hosted by Musk's brother, later that year. At that party, the duo reported taking ketamine together and disappeared for several hours. NYT claims that four people confirm this piece of information.
Further, according to three sources, Shanahan confessed to husband Sergey Bin that she had sex with Musk and she had shared the details with her friends and family, the report suggested.
However, as per a WSJ report in 2022, both Musk and Shanahan denied the affair. Denying the claims, Shanahan said last year that both were discussing her daughter's autism treatment when they were together that night.
Talking to People magazine, she claimed that her career was based on academic and intellectual credibility and that she was shamed internationally for being a cheater. She added that it was debilitating and humiliating to be known for a sexual act.
