New Delhi: Alphabet-owned Google has hiked CEO Sundar Pichai’s potential compensation to $692 million for the next three years, cementing his spot among top-paid executives, the Financial Times reported Saturday.

Key components include $126 million in performance stock units (PSUs) tied to S&P 100 shareholder returns—potentially doubling to $252 million or zero based on targets—plus $84 million in monthly-vesting restricted stock and a $2 million annual salary.

New incentives total up to $350 million: $130 million for Waymo and $45 million for Wing Aviation (both up to 200% payout), rewarding leadership in autonomous tech.

Since 2015, Pichai has driven Google’s market cap from $535 billion to $3.6 trillion (peaking at $4 trillion). The 53-year-old IIT/McKinsey alum owns 1.67 million shares worth $498 million at Friday’s $298 close.

In comparison, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella earned $96.5 million in fiscal 2025, while Apple’s Tim Cook took home $74.3 million.
