Celebrity chef Niall Harbison has taken charge of feeding stray dogs living in his area. Since he is a Michelin-star chef, the meal he served reflected the quality.

Stray dogs living in the Koh Samui islands, Thailand ended up relishing a bowl full of sausages, treats, broccoli, and specially cooked gravy. The dish had meat, trimmings, and vegetables like carrots as well.

The video shared by the chef has gone viral on Twitter. Stray dogs were seen running towards his truck, eating the meal, and excitedly wagging their tails. He captioned the video: "Bringing some serious happiness to the street dogs. A little Sunday Roast with sausages and a little treat in each bowl. Did it have actual gravy on top? Of course, it did."

Many praised the chef's selfless gesture and some asked if the furry canines ate the greens served to them. The video shared on July 10 already has over 600K views and 11K likes.

He revealed that the special meal was funded by Tayla Blue, an influencer. She wrote to the chef on Instagram: "Love everything about your mission and will never stop supporting you Niall. This is just the beginning!!!"

Niall Harbison moved to Thailand in 2018. He wrote on Instagram that he wanted to think up the greatest meal possible for the street dogs for a very special reason. He thanked Blue for sharing his page and making the donation.

The strays of the island have been struggling since the pandemic put a stop to the influx of tourists. Chef Harbison took charge of the feeding routine and mostly funds the venture themselves but accepts donations.

He has been taking care of about 80 dogs every day and ensuring they are healthy. He also takes them to the vet and ensures they are healthy. Niall is planning to set up a foundation and a sanctuary for sick and stray dogs on the island.
