New Delhi: The Sunday Times Rich List states that renowned musician Sir Paul McCartney is now the first artist in the United Kingdom to become a billionaire. The astounding 1.57 billion dollar net worth of the 81-year-old Beatles star is assessed.
The reasons for McCartney's fortune increase were attributed to his 2023 "Got Back" tour, his lucrative back catalogue, and "little help" from Beyonce, who performed a cover of the well-known Beatles song "Blackbird.”
McCartney came in at number 165 on the newspaper's widely read list of the 350 richest persons in the United Kingdom. Indian-origin investor Gopi Hinduja and his family topped the list for the third consecutive year, NDTV reported.
It is estimated that Gopi Hinduja is worth 46 billion dollars. The annual Sunday Times Rich List states that Paul McCartney and his spouse Nancy Shevell are worth fifty million pounds more than they were the previous year.
