Mumbai: Saisha Shinde, a transwoman and participant of Kangana Ranaut, hosted 'Lock Upp', made a shocking revelation that it is common for transwomen to be stripped in public to prove their gender, IANS reported.

As the reality show 'Lock Upp' ran, challenger and troublemaker Prince Narula asked her about the challenges faced by trans women in their daily life, and she replied so.

She said, "We have to stop this injustice, and we have to work together to bring about the change. That change can only come when privileged people like me come out and talk about it openly without any fear."

She then made a promise that she would donate 50 per cent of what she earned from the show to NGOs working for the trans community and the charitable trusts she runs.

Lock Upp has been churning out real-life experiences from participants that impact the audience.
