text_fieldsSouth Brunswick: As seen in the video shared by the South Brunswick Township Police Department's public relations office, firefighters are panicked as they approach the burning building.
Video shows a New Jersey man hurling his 3-year-old son and jumping from a window to escape a fire.
Having spread their arms beneath the building, the officers tried to convince the man trapped on the second floor to throw the infant down.
Officers shouting "pass the baby down" can be heard as the father clears a passage from the window while debris rains down.
The horrified infant was then tossed out the window before he jumped from the second floor, headfirst.

According to the South Brunswick PD, the post was captioned: "Rescue captured on officers' body worn camera. Dad throws child out 2nd floor window to officers and firefighters, then jumps to escape flames consuming apartment building."
